Synergetic Training & Consulting is a 16-year-old company, rebranded in January 2016 to mark the latest step in its evolution delivering corporate and legal software training and floor support.

This growing enterprise today is the trusted training partner of large (Fortune 500) and mid-size corporations, corporate legal deparments, and some of the largest law firms (200 attorneys or more) in the Mid-Atlantic states (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania). Synergetic also serves clients in Washington, D. C., Boston, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and other cities and states around the country.

 

New Jersey-based Synergetic maintains a pool of screened, experienced corporate and legal trainers whom we call upon as needed to augment company resources. Many have been with Synergetic since its start.

Our instructors deliver software training in a classroom setting at the client's site, at a central location of the client's choosing (e.g., hotel or conference center), or online, as client needs dictate. Our expertise includes developing training modules that will equip client staff with the practical skills necessary to use the latest software tools in their customized environment.

Principal

Jennifer Brennan graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a Paralegal Certification from one of the first American Bar Association-approved programs in the country. While at Montclair State, she was a student liaison to other paralegal students and trained them on Westlaw, which was standard curriculum in the program.

Jennifer's first job out of college was that of business administrator for one of the largest Presbyterian churches in the Northeast. In addition to maintaining daily business operations, she also was responsible for network administration and computer training.

Realizing her first love was computer training in the legal field, in 1991 she joined The Michie Company, a division of Lexis/Nexis, and began training their CD-ROM-based products, as well as Lexis/Nexis. A year later, she moved to highly regarded Integrated Computer Management as an instructor, training both corporate and legal clients on generic and customized software applications systems. She also was responsible for documentation and curriculum development.

Promoted to education services project manager in 1995, Jennifer managed the company's large-scale law firm projects, designing curriculum, managing resources and providing training. At the same time, she worked directly with the sales department to bring aboard corporate and legal clients for corporate computer training. Among her clients were Carlton Fields; Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, LLP; UMDNJ/UBHC; Phillips Nizer, LLP; Bellcore; Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC; and Schering Plough.

Six years later, ICM merged with Computer Horizons Corp. Seeing an entrepreneurial door opening, Jennifer and a like-minded colleague left that business to found Equinox Associates, LLC, as managing partners. After a successful 15-year run, her colleague moved on to another opportunity and Synergetic Training & Consulting was born.
